Cartes & Identification 2009
EtherTrust was exhibitor at Cartes & Identification 2009, a smart card focused international congress held in Paris from 17th to 19th November.
For 3 days, EtherTrust exposed innovative solutions for secure authentication based on SSL smart cards on various use cases, such as OpenID identity management and Cloud Computing infrastructure.
A demonstration using USB dongles with integrated SSL smart card was displayed in order to show the benefits of our technology to securely manage user identities on an OpenID server, generating certificates on request and storing it in the card, allowing the user to automatically log in with its generated identity.
The EtherTrust stand was shared with our German partner Implementa, who provided us with a smart card grid which allows optimized parallel access to the cards. A demonstration displaying simultaneous SSL authentication with 32 SSL server cards, stored in a grid in Germany, illustrated the potentiality of this architecture that could easily be adapted to Cloud Computing.
