EtherTrust at Mobile World Congress 2010
EtherTrust was exhibitor at Mobile World Congress 2010, an international event dealing with mobile devices, held in Barcelona from 15th to 18th February 2010.
In partnership with Sagem Orga, EtherTrust will demonstrate its SSL embedded smart card technology applied to a 3G dongle USIM, exhibiting the benefits of secure identity management and authentication combined with the high speed data link to Internet provided by the USIM.
The demonstration will display highly secure and very simple, user-centric authentication to service providers thanks to EtherTrust OpenID Server, able to generate digital identity certificates on request and to perform certificate-based authentication of a user, hence suppressing the need for login/password pair.

Cartes & Identification 2009
EtherTrust was exhibitor at Cartes & Identification 2009, a smart card focused international congress held in Paris from 17th to 19th November.
For 3 days, EtherTrust exposed innovative solutions for secure authentication based on SSL smart cards on various use cases, such as OpenID identity management and Cloud Computing infrastructure.
A demonstration using USB dongles with integrated SSL smart card was displayed in order to show the benefits of our technology to securely manage user identities on an OpenID server, generating certificates on request and storing it in the card, allowing the user to automatically log in with its generated identity.
The EtherTrust stand was shared with our German partner Implementa, who provided us with a smart card grid which allows optimized parallel access to the cards. A demonstration displaying simultaneous SSL authentication with 32 SSL server cards, stored in a grid in Germany, illustrated the potentiality of this architecture that could easily be adapted to Cloud Computing.
EtherTrust finalist at Paris Innovation Awards
EtherTrust was one of the few finalists at the Grand Prix de l'Innovation de Paris (Paris Innovation Awards), an event rewarding the most innovative technologies.
Finalists were selected on criteria such as the viability of the project upon adaptation to real life issues. EtherTrust was presenting its SSL embedded smartcard, which perfectly integrates with existing Web technologies, providing high security for user authentication as well as simple anti-phishing solutions.
